Introduction

One meets so many great people on the internet that it is very difficult to list all whose paths you may have crossed without ending up with a huge list but we all can find those who have had some greater impact on one's life or within one's work and it is to these people that I gratefully offer acknowledgment, am proud to be associated with and would like to give my heartfelt thanks to. To any persons I may have missed please accept my apologies.

“Never lose sight of the fact that the most important yardstick of your success will be how you treat other people - your family, friends, co-workers and even strangers you meet along the way.” - Barbara Bush.

Sincere Thanks

•  Are extended to my award program team members - past and present, each who gave or give freely of their friendship, loyalty, time and skills enhancing my award program beyond my wildest dreams. What would any award program be without you?

• Carlos from Item unlinked. Cb2 Web Design A truly great man who made lessons on web site design easier for me to understand; who gave countless hours of work and thought to my award program; who never picked me up when I 'fell over with coding confusion' but made me stand up on my own and who became a very special friend whose vision, skills, innovation and creativity are behind the web site design being displayed. The web site text-only script used throughout this web site and sections of content within the Accessibility pages that have been sourced or have been adapted are used with permission granted by Carlos.

• Jerry, a dear friend, who not only gave above and beyond the call of duty within my award program but who also always seemed to be able to teach me something new and who epitomized honor, loyalty and friendship. Jerry is also the creator of one of our Holiday Season web site entrance displays and our unique Staff Badge. (Web site now closed.)

• Aiko from Item unlinked. ATGP who gives so freely many hours of his time and who uses all his excellent and very special skills completing badly needed 'extra jobs' for the web site. It is people like Aiko that make the awards community the place it is.

• Tony from Item unlinked. U.W.S.A.G Item unlinked. and Vie‘s Inn of Wonders‘ Awards with whom I burned the midnight oil over several nights as he encouraged me to reach further than ever before, who taught me how to achieve the only 'dreamed of' AAA validations, became my 'rescuer' when I needed to display a 'composite' ratings image and who also created our current validation image set and fine turned the award images presented. A very special, giving person providing encouragement guidance and personal input, my final reward was a new friend and the award program becoming more user friendly.

• Denny from Item unlinked. Lancasters Laughing Place and theItem unlinked. Talking Hands Awards with whom I found a true friendship during the hours and days spent trying to resolve the “project” - who provides a firm and reliable shoulder to lean on in times of adversity and who taught me how to live my life in the 'laughing place.' Thanks Denny :) Thanks also for permitting the display of your painted ASL alphabet and for your guidance and advice on Accessibility.

• Steve (Peter S) from Item unlinked. Caronia II Timeline with whom I shared a small part of a 'matrix' adventure and found a new friend during the hours we spent together as he developed the venture. Thanks Steve :)
