When A Web Site May Be Removed From Our Winners Listings

This action may become applicable under the following circumstances:

If a web site no longer exists, has moved or we are unable to trace its new location. We urge you to e-mail us immediately if you move your web site to a new location. E-mails should be sent to us within seven (7) days from the date the web site has been moved. Upon our receipt of your notification, your award listing will not be removed. Excluded are web sites being off-line due to server, host or personal problems these being notified in writing as soon as possible to the owner of this award program.

From time to time web sites listed as achievers of our awards go 'missing' for various reasons covering events like changing server Hosts, closed down for a time etc. Missing web sites provide broken links for us and in order to try to avoid that problem, any winners links creating errors will have the site title and their winning status moved through to our 'missing links list' for a period of one (1) month after which they will be removed permanently. When we carry out our Link Checks we also manually check all unavailable links and correct those we can. However, there are often some that 'slip through the net' - that we are unable to find. Is your web site missing? Check out our 'Missing Links' list - see lower right side facing navigation.

Reapplication Policy

If you received at any time an achievement notification of a Merit, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Web Site of the Month award but have not achieved our Web Site of the Year award . . .

. . . or if your web site has not qualified for any award you may reapply as long as the minimum waiting period of ninety (90 days) has passed from the date of your receipt of the previous assessment notification from us, but only if you believe that substantial web site changes have been made that may influence your previous assessment positively.

Web sites must score a higher points rating total than that of the currently achieved award in order to be eligible for any higher award This means that the full assessment policy of our award program will be applied against any reapplication.

In the event of your web site scoring less points than those gained at your previous assessment you will not lose the award you currently hold. However if your web site now displays disqualifying items from our list to claim another assessment will mean you perhaps need to consider making further improvements to your web site and reapply after the same timeframe as stated above.
