All award programs have varying standards within which their staff assess web sites. You may earn some really great awards elsewhere and yet, when you apply to us you may be unsuccessful. This does not mean that your web site has no qualities nor does it mean that we demean or invalidate your work. It simply means that different award programs have different standards being used as a basis for their assessments than those used within O.N.Z.C.D.A™

Just as we would never expect you to alter your standards to suit us an award program should not be expected to alter standards to suit applicants. You should never give up or make assumptions that assessors have been unfair when assessing your web site - we have provided a lot of information for your perusal in an effort to assist you and we reassure you that you are being treated with the utmost respect, fairness, objectivity, integrity, validation, recognition and encouragement. Consider contacting award program owners to seek some answers as to what happened during the assessment processing of your web site if you do not understand anything. Most will reply to you.

We admit to having no desire to 'give away' our awards - we expect them to be 'earned.' We will never compromise the standards we have set in order to increase our winners listings.

We reserve the right to refuse to issue any award to any web site that in the opinion of our staff does not meet the full minimum requirements for our Awards.

We want you to be successful with the web site you have spent so many hours working on and we understand the frustrations when, at times, things just do not seem to go right and the disappointment felt when awards are not achieved. Our awards are achievable if you read carefully all the information we have provided and apply our requirements. We do not seek perfection (we are far from perfect ourselves) but we do seek to maintain the honor and dignity of our staff, applicants, this award program and the awards we offer. We eagerly look towards the day when your web site will be listed within our Winners Gallery.
