Welcome to the writings of Bernard Howe. Inside the web site you will find short stories, poetry and a poetry style section where the author give definitions and examples of 18 different styles of poetry. Mr Howe knows his literary business; a great web site for those who wish to study to gain new literary skills. Visitors can spend hours reading some of the most heart - filled poetry ever to be found. Bernard began by writing western poetry or cowboy poems about the old west because of his living in Arizona. He enjoyed hearing and learning about the life of a cowboy and he used a pen name of Sonoran Sam for a while. Bernard tries to be versatile in his writing and about two years ago he started to try his hand at a few short stories. The one about Alaska is his true life adventure of working on the trans-Alaskan pipe line.

Niccolò Machiavelli - The Prince

•  Niccolò Machiavelli - The Prince » awarded April. This web site is now closed.

When Niccolò Machiavelli - Nicolás Maquiavelo - ( 1469-1527 ) in 1513 publishes the work 'The Prince' he commits a politically incorrect act when he reveals, as advice, the mechanisms that are moved behind the governors. Independent of the judgment of the value that their lessons deserve, the same ones show to us as real, the criteria that, without exceptions, guide those who hold the power. Therefore we can understand the importance that the work of the Florentine instilled with the Renaissance spirit has. In this web site you will be able to find a brief biography, a reference of the historical moment in which this book was written, aspects of the city of Florence, significant paragraphs of each chapter of the book and some resources about Political Science and web site design.
