•  Any person aged fourteen (14) years and up who is the web site/blog owner, designer and/or maintainer or who has the authority to make an application on behalf of the web site/blog owner, designer and/or maintainer and who has the belief the web site/blog meets the requirements of this award program.

•  Business web sites on condition the site owner permits the display of any award that may be achieved.
•  Link listings on condition the site also displays considerable informational (non links) content.
•  Blogs on condition the blog also displays considerable informational (non links) content.
•  Web sites at 'free' domain hosting services as long as the site does not display any content as listed in (a) below irrespective of whether this content is provided through personal or 'free' domain hosting service additions.

Note: Our Child Safety requirements - see Disqualification - Item #4 will apply to all applicant site categories.

(a) Web sites/blogs that display, promote, incite and/or directly and/or indirectly link to violence, terrorism, racist material or comments that are ethnically or otherwise offensive, abusive, defamatory, vulgar or gratuitously violent, pornography and/or type of sexually explicit material, abuse and/or humiliation of people and/or animals, illegal hunting and/or culling of wildlife or domestic animals not for legal, efficient conservation purposes, blatant copyright infringement, warez, pyramid schemes, scams, any form of discrimination on grounds of race, gender, nation of origin, religion, profession, age, mental or physical impairment or any other reason which is not globally viewed as an illegal trait or manner of conduct and we also reserve the right to refuse any application we believe breaches this exclusion statement and where the web site is considered by us to be in breach through the display of any other proven unethical behavior not covered above.
(b) Any person who communicates with us in an abusive manner in response to any prior unsuccessful application for our awards or who, having earned one of our awards, refuses to accept and display same or who has been found proven to have illegally removed material from this or any other web site.
(c) Any applicant who does not meet our requirements in reference to the completion of our application form.
(d) Although we will accept applications from owners of sites at 'free' domain hosting services we reserve the right to refuse applications from certain types of 'free' hosting services.
