Web Site Updates 2006

January through February - Minor changes to Statistics Center applied. Personal reasons forced a temporary applications closure of the award program. Some of the closure time will be spent updating pages requiring attention and preparing for our new awards year beginning in February. In reference to the applications suspension, we extend our thanks to the many Rating Services we are listed with and to our applicants - all of whom are being so patient. We are aware of the inconvenience you are being caused and offer a sincere apology to you all. We also announce the arrival within the award program of Mr. Marco Orlandoni - Italy. Marco is taking up the position of assessor within our team and we look forward to working with him through the year. We were especially honored to have received the very special Web site Strategic Award on the 26th of February.

March - We announce the arrival within the award program during late February of Mr. Tony Duthoo - Belgium. Tony has taken up the position of assessor within our team and we look forward to working with him through the year. Web site changes have been ongoing from the 23rd and sincere thanks is offered to Tony who has been another great teacher :)

April - Web pages tidied and in some instances rearranged, Navigation links rearranged, new navigation links added to the bottom of main pages; the web site is honored with the U.W.S.A.G - Level 6.0 rating. The award program is also now a participant within the U.W.S.A.G SOA Nominee program.

May - Applications for this month have been suspended due to the discovery of some anomalies within the award program that occurred when some ' tweaking ' was carried out at the end of April, the end results being serious enough to make it unethical to continue with applicants evaluations. The only method that would ensure total fairness to our applicants was to suspend applications for the month of May including the Web site of the Month, correct the problems and carry the current May applications forward to June. Awards Treasure Chest Level 6.0 rating altered to Awards Treasure Chest Level 5.0 rating (this change being due to the issuing service removing their Level 6.0 rating section.)

June - Accepted as a member and/or rated with the Award Ethics Community on June 3rd and the Poetic Soul Award Index on June 13th. We are thankful for the new web site entrance display and the set of award images designed by Cliff Ewing that went online June 15th. Updated the Winners Circle archive page June 22nd.

July - Font size enlarged throughout web site to enable easier reading. P3P validated under the W3C P3P 1.0 recommendations. Carried out an overall revamp of site to make it more viewable in 800 x 600. Brightly colored ( to enable easier viewing ) access keys have been added to the header and upper right side facing navigation systems. Further clarification on application timeframe's added. The site was honored to achieve the Fun Tyme Entertainment Awards Program Gold Award - we value highly the many hours evaluators freely give to assist us to achieve our own dreams for our web sites.

August - Sincere thanks to the Brothers Grinn the  NovaSite! editors for their superb creativity when applying the NovaSite! of the month against O.N.Z.C.D.A™ for August. Have updated the Privacy Policy bringing it more into line with our P3P Privacy Policy.

September - Major and cosmetic design changes being undertaken in site to ensure better readability for our viewers. Site pages undergo testing at  SiteMorse™ with very pleasing results. New 'Kiwi Friendship' gift provided for our friends. We have long wanted to add this feature and we are grateful to the generosity of Sandra from  Fun Tyme Entertainment who designed our Kiwi friendship image for us. O.N.Z.C.D.A™ is honored to have been rated  Wsaptronic 6.0  on September 14th and EW-C ( now closed ) on September 18th.

October - Our campaign against web site form email spammers is now well underway with several processes loaded into our server and web pages to trap the perpetrators. A most invasive form of behavior, form email spamming is, to us, time and bandwidth consuming and will no longer be tolerated and instead of just complaining about it we have joined with many around the world and are fighting back!

November - Each year we commission a graphic designer to create our special site entrance display for the holiday season. This year it has been designed by Sandra Gerbers from  Fun Tyme Entertainment and we are grateful for her generosity. This display will be online from the start of December through to January 7th 2007. We are privileged to welcome to O.N.Z.C.D.A™ Aiko Timmer owner of ATGP Awards - (site temporarily closed) who is our new Technical Director. It has been due to Aiko that many cosmetic and some coding changes have been undertaken over the past weeks to enable more efficient functioning of our web pages.

December - The Holiday Season looms near and the feel of anticipation is already in the air. The latest web site addition increase/decrease font size coding at the top of all pages will hopefully further assist our visually impaired guests.
