•  Recognize, honor and ultimately reward web site owners, who, through design excellence and creativity, display web sites that provide site visitors with something of noteworthy value after they return to their normal daily lives and we are always excited and impressed by innovative ideas, educational / recreational content and design excellence.

We also strive to always . . .

•  Be respectful to our applicants offering them the security of knowing that our staff continuously work to protect their interests whilst maintaining consistent integrity within ethical web site assessments thus enhancing the Code of Ethics beside which we stand . . .
•  Actively encourage applicants to partake of the learning experience offered ultimately providing them with independent analysis of their web site content and presentation this being based on facts, uninfluenced by personal feelings, interpretations and/or prejudice . . .
•  Promote high quality family safe web experiences by encouraging, recognizing and rewarding web site design efforts from beginners to the more experienced owners and designers thus providing our applicants and guests with web site referrals of excellence.

•  Began at the end of 1998 and since that time our award program has been through several long and major transitions during its growth with award images, criteria, assessment processes and general presentation evolving slowly into what we present to you today but we have, over the years, always maintained the original heart of O.N.Z.C.D.A™ in our objectivity, standard of ethics and respect for our guests for we believe that you are the heart and the soul of all we offer - that without you we would have no life.

We believe we are here to serve our applicants providing honest, unbiased assessments of their web sites. Our Team has set guidelines that we all work under and we believe that we should always -

•  Provide total objectivity and ethical stability.
•  Be capable of lateral thinking and use ' fuzzy logic ' - moving 'outside the square' as required to achieve balanced ethical solutions.
•  Provide decision innovation and creativity combined with justice and ethical integrity and a non-compromising attitude towards the award program regulations as are written.
•  Be respectful towards our applicants and towards our fellow team members regardless of the circumstances.
•  Never hold the expectation that applicants who do not achieve our awards will drastically alter their web sites to win but hold to the belief that applicants should only make site changes if any of our assessment comments fit in with their overall thoughts and if they believe the changes would improve their web sites.
•  Remember that none of us ever know everything - that we all learn new things every day and grow with the continual knowledge gained.
•  Constantly remind ourselves that we have been where our applicants are; nervously making their applications and then waiting with trepidation for the assessment results.
