The title of this web site is O.N.Z.C.D.A™ and we have as our principal activity the provision of web site/blog assessments and the achievement of awards by applicants. The web site/blog owner may be contacted by using our Contact Form.

We do not collect nor maintain personally identifiable information from individual users under the age of fourteen (14) years under any circumstances. This web site has been categorized as 'safe' by Norton. See a pictorial summary of their findings.
We guarantee the services and resources of all internal site links but are unable to do likewise for 3rd party links although we do take extreme caution when we choose who and what we will link to. We respectfully advise parental supervision be applied with children visiting any web site.
The privacy and thus the safety of young persons is especially important and for that reason we never collect or maintain personal information at this site from those we actually know are under fourteen (14) years of age.
Personal information is defined as individually identifiable information such as an e-mail address, a telephone number, first and last name, a home or other physical address including a street name, city or town and the like.
We are committed to respecting and protecting your personal privacy paying particular attention to the privacy needs of children and have developed our own Policy in reference to child safety on the www.
We share the concerns of parents in regards to child safety so we have created a web site that we believe minimizes the chances of children viewing offensive material and to this end we strive to ensure no offensive links may be reached by the use of this web site. In view of this, applicants and parents should be familiar with the following policies.
• SAFESURF, RDF and/or any other like claims - We do not demand that web site/blog designers use SAFESURF, RDF and/or any other like processes as we allow that not all web site/blog owners utilize all or any of the above stated labels, however we do have the expectation that web sites/blogs and/or web/blog pages that display claims of being valid with these services will be coded correctly in order to pass the testing inspection.
• 1. A Privacy Policy that is also related to children must be easily accessible within the web site/blog irrespective of the country of origin of owner and/or Domain. No Privacy Policy available for viewing will create disqualification of the web site.
• 2. We have the expectation that web sites/blogs will meet our own Child Safety Policy (see specifically items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7a and/or 7b) irrespective of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and/or where the web site/blog is hosted as New Zealand law does not enforce COPPA.
• 3. The web site/blog owner should not collect personally identifiable information from individual users under the age of thirteen (13) years without parental or guardian consent.
• 4. The web site/blog should display information about the site owners information collection practices for parents and the site/blog owner should provide a method by which parental consent may be obtained before collecting or maintaining personal information from children.
• 5. Parents should always be given a choice as to whether their child's personal information will be maintained.
• 6. Easy access for parents should be supplied at all times to their child's personal information with them also being given the opportunity to delete the child's personal information and opt-out of future collection or use of the information.
• 7. Any applicant web site/blog irrespective of the nationality of the owner, where the web site/blog is hosted or whether it is business or personal must meet one of the following requirements -
• 7a. Any web site/blog that displays forms of any description and/or where interactive visitor input is available through e-mails, online stores, donation seeking and/or acceptance, notice boards, forums, chats and/or guest books, must have a child age limitation applied against children viewing the web site/blog and the web site/blog Privacy Policy, also relative to children including a minimum child age limit specified for site access, must be linked in an easily accessible manner within the web site/blog. Failure to meet this requirement will create disqualification of the web site/blog - OR -
• 7b. Any web site/blog that does not display forms of any description and/or where interactive visitor input is not available through e-mails, online stores, donation seeking and/or acceptance, notice boards, forums, chats or guest books, must display that the web site/blog owner applies to the web site/blog content the basic principles of our Policy on Child Safety and Privacy - see our basic safety list. Internet child safety for children is our priority and any web site/blog not applying our basic principles will have five (5) points deducted from the final assessment score.
