EXCEPTION: Any web site/blog that presents as an educational resource of extreme excellence, where contact facilities on site are kept to a minimum and where child age restrictions within the Privacy Policy would unfairly restrict the children of the world from achieving knowledge and thus educational advancement.

We have set a minimum age for applicants this being fourteen (14) years. Any person aged fourteen (14) years and up who is the web site/blog owner, designer and/or maintainer or who has the authority to make an application on behalf of the web site/blog owner, designer and/or maintainer and who has the belief the web site/blog meets the requirements of this award program may make an application.

Parents who find their child has accessed this web site without their parental or guardian guidance or permission and has submitted information to us may have any personal details collected by this web site owner immediately removed from our possession and they may also opt out of any future collection or use of the information.

Our policy covering the maintenance of identifiable information from young persons may be viewed in our Privacy Policy.

Under our policies parents have the ability to control what personal information about their child may be collected, held and / or disclosed even though the young person may be aged fourteen (14) years plus and we believe that this is the way things should be.

No form should be filled out by any young person under the age of fourteen (14) years without first getting permission by his or her parent or legal guardian, this including chats, forums, any forms, guest books or any other source that may supply information to the Site owner. We encourage parents to be with their children on the Internet even if the young person is aged fourteen (14) years plus and to supervise them when viewing web sites or at the very least, during the submitting of any form of information over the Internet.

Our staff display at their own web sites individual Privacy and/or Legal Policies. Although each Policy is different one theme runs through them all in that they provide privacy of information and protect the safety and privacy of young persons.
