This award may be achieved by the web site that has, during the current year of application, qualified for the Web site of the Year competition by achieving a Web site of the Month award. We expect to find extreme excellence in all areas of site design, quality coding, ongoing, excellent content quality, efficient site maintenance, resourceful content additions and excellent adherence to our criteria.

The Web site of the Year award ( if achieved ) is awarded each year to one of the past achievers of our Web site of the Month award earned during the current year. ( This may be altered as required under our  diversification scheme. ) The web site that best reflects the purpose and the philosophy of O.N.Z.C.D.A™ will be further rewarded with this unique and highly sought after award.

In the case of two web sites achieving equal averaged points there will be joint winners. Achievers of this award will be provided with a promotional new window display including a large sized web site image, descriptive text and assessors comments linking to the successful web site.

Rated Award Sites! 5.0+ Elite, WebsAwards 5.0, U.W.S.A.G 6.0, Awards Treasure Chest 5.0, Wsaptronic 6.0 Elite, A.W.A.R.D 6.0, Belgica Excellence Index 10.0, Elite Award Index 7.0 and Eutoda Academy of Fine Awards 6.0. Averaged points required: 97 from 100. There are two sizes available with the following specifications: (1) 115 H x 115 W pixels with a weight of 7.603 bytes and (2) 100 H x 100 W pixels with a weight of 7,842 bytes and the image will be imprinted with a unique site code.

The criteria used for assessment and final selection will be stringent as the qualified web sites have already passed with honors a balanced scrutiny of technical and other strict criteria. The winning web site will not only meet our criteria to the extreme but will display a high site maintenance percentage. We will undertake intense scrutiny seeking any changes or additions made to each qualifying web site since our assessment of the initial application. Our final winner will signify the supreme achievement in web excellence in all areas and at all levels. The intent of this award is to recognize web sites that have achieved supreme excellence in all areas of content, design, graphics, techniques, and presentation.

Web site of the Year assessments will take place during the month of December in any given year unless otherwise indicated.
